This silverplated cast bronze clown inkstand is signed “E. Urbain” and impressed “Made in France”. The sad-faced clown’s head and ruff are the hinged lid of the inkwell. The clown spreads his arms above a flowing pen tray made of his costume. He rests on three turned button feet.
