La Pierre Manufacturing Company was a prominent American silverware manufacturer based in Newark, New Jersey. The company was founded in 1888 by Frank H. La Pierre and became well-known for producing high-quality silver and mixed-metal items, including desk accessories, hollowware, and flatware. La Pierre was eventually acquired by the International Silver Company in 19292.

  • Inkwell: The inkwell is spherical with a lid and is adorned with decorative elements resembling cherries and leaves. It stands on three small spherical feet.
  • Rocker Blotter: The rocker blotter has a curved base for blotting ink, with a handle on top. It is similarly decorated with cherries and leaves.

Both pieces are made of silver and copper, showcasing the mixed-metal craftsmanship for which La Pierre was known. Also pictured is the entire desk set made by La Pierre.
