An inkwell is mounted on a shaped quatrefoil base carved in high relief with two stylized dragons. The inkwell’s hinged lid has a carved red coral finial. The piece is marked “Edward I. Farmer / New York / Sterling. The six inch matching dip pen is marked “Sterling”.
