Chinese silver inkstand made by Wang Hing (hallmarked). The inkstand has a figural design with Chinese dragons – long, scaled serpentine creatures with four legs. A small, lidded compartment in the middle with a hinged lid would hold stamps, pen nibs, etc. On either side are inkwells with ornate silver hinged lids.
