Box-shaped, hallmarked, silverplate inkstand features a hinged cover, footed base and two inkwells. Between the inkwells is a hinged-covered storage compartment. In the front, there is space for pens. There are three hallmarks on the bottom of the case: a flying bird, a “Z S” mark, and a unicorn (?) head mark.
