This Roycroft inkwell with an early mark features a round base with rivets and displays many of the classic attributes of their circa 1910 production – a strong design, superb hammering, and riveted construction. This particular inkwell bears close resemblance to one made by Gustav Stickley during this time. The question of who came up with the original design first remains a subject of controversy.
