Pictured are two versions of this pressed glass double inkstand with a horse figurine. They are the same except (1) one horse is satin glass (acid etched) while the other is clear glass, and (2) the glass lids to the inkwells are slightly different. Both are marked “PAT APLD FOR” and both have a scallop shell center. They were manufactured by the Central Glass Company, Wheeling WV, a company in business from 1863 to 1939.
