This inkstand dating to 1897 in the form of Queen Victoria’s bust commemorates 60 years of the queen’s rule. Her crown lifts to reveal the inkwell. The base was cast to create pen rests on all four sides.

The backside of the bust is inscribed “Victoria Regina – 60 Years – 1897.” The underside of the base has the English design registration number 292192. Also impressed on the base are marks for EP (electro-plated) and L & W (Lee & Wigfull).
