An example of decorative glasswork combined with metal craftsmanship. The body of the inkwell is made of a deep purple glass with a round, bulbous shape. The brass lid is decorated with raised details. The brass holder cradling the glass body has an openwork design, with interconnected lines and shapes forming a delicate mesh-like appearance.
