Measuring 13” x 8 ½” x 7 ½” (high to inkwell’s lid)

This wooden writing box with a curved metal carrying handle holds two cut glass inkwells, has pen channels on both sides, and a pull out storage drawer. On the front, a plaque is inscribed:  “Presented to W. B. Anderson as a mark of respect by the teachers and scholars of Salem Congregational Mission Schools, Hunslet 1880.”
