Bronze inkwell by sculptor Peter Tereszcuk.  Inkwell in German is “Tintenfass”.  While born in 1875 in the Ukrainian city Wybudow, he created most of his works, which stylistically correspond to the Art Nouveau period, during 1895 and 1925 in Vienna, Austria where he also spent most of his life.  The inkwell portrays two young people hammering a horseshoe.  Glass insert absent.  Piece is signed on the left side.

Purchased in 2016 for $500.
