A graceful inkstand with double inkpots and a matching pen.  Portuguese silver is used to fashion the lids and pen while the pen holder and small flowers that adorn the corners of the wooden base appear to be of another metal or possible a lower alloy of silver.  While there are no marks to definitively determine when the inkstand was created the seller attributed it to early part of the 20th century.  The inkwell was acquired at a flea market in Lisbon.  A wonderful souvenir of our visit to the city.

Purchased at a Lisbon flea market for 95 Euros in December of 2024.
