An Arab man sits on a large, fringed rug smoking a long pipe. Next to him is a tasseled pillow with a hinged cover that opens to expose the inkwell. Made of cold-painted white metal, the piece is stamped on the underside: “Trade Mark Coronet Registered Austria.”
