A figural stoneware inkwell in the form of the head of a Pierrot clown. The clown’s face is detailed with a cheerful expression with hand-painted red lips and a jolly grin. There is a dip hole for a pen/quill at the top of the clown’s hat. The hat lifts to reveal the inkwell in the recess below. It is marked “2346 Germany”.
