This cast iron inkstand holds a pressed glass inkwell embossed with “Judd” (H.L. Judd Company) with a cast iron lid. Behind the inkwell, there is a four-station pen rack. The pen rack and the rear of the inkstand form a letter holder. The bottom of the inkstand is marked with the patent date “Pat. Nov 25, 1879”.
