Pallme-König Art Glass Inkwell

Measuring 4 ¼” diameter; 2 ¾” high

This art glass inkwell was made by Pallme-König and features the “Medici” pattern. The red iridescent oil spot decoration against a gold iridescent background, along with the red iridescent oil spots on the cream-colored background of the hinged lid, are characteristic of this pattern. The blue iridescent applied thread loops extending from the silverplated collar further enhance its intricate design.
