This onyx inkstand features a spherical container resting on a pedestal, all mounted on a flat, round base. The inkstand is adorned with ornamental brass accents, including a decorative band around the sphere’s equator and the rim of the base. The lid of the sphere has a finial shaped in a floral design. It is marked “Bracher & Sydenham, Reading”.
