This 1930s souvenir inkstand captures the essence of Paris and its iconic landmarks.

  • Design and Style: The inkstand is designed in the Art Deco style, popular during the 1920s and 1930s. This style is characterized by its bold, geometric shapes and lavish ornamentation.
  • Material: It is made of pot metal or a lead alloy.
  • Markings: The inkstand is marked with “Notre Dame” and “Paris” on the front, and “Depose 201” on the underside.
  • Features: The inkstand has its original metal insert and a hinged lid covering the inkwell. The lid features an image of Sacré-Cœur (the Basilica of the Sacred Heart of Montmartre).
