This Art Deco lusterware inkwell is in the form of a clown. Made by Noritake, the face, hands, and flowers are hand painted. Marked Noritake, Red M in Wreath, Hand Painted, Made in Japan.  

Red example sold for $332 in May 2023; A red example sold for $795 in July 2025.

Multicolor example sold for $409 in April 2024
