Porcelain inkwell in the shape of an owl. Bright orange color on the back side and the head; front is wheat color. The head boasts large black and orange eyes. His wings are black, his feet brown/black. Marked with the green “M” in a wreath – Noritake, hand painted.
Also pictured is a blue version of this inkwell.
Orange sold for $142 in May 2023. Blue sold for $150 in May 2023. Blue sold for $250 in December 2023. Orange sold for $131 in February 2024. Orange sold for $179 in August 2025.
