Hand painted Nippon inkwell with the M in Wreath for the importers Morimura Bros. in green, dating it to post 1911. The inkwell has a pattern with an alternating rooster and a leaf pattern repeated on the opposite sides. The corners and sloped shoulders are decorated with black moriage on light green with white and rust colored slip beads. The lid has a stylized floral pattern.
