Moroccan Inkwell with Candlestick

This Moroccan earthenware inkwell with a candlestick lid is modelled in a traditional house shape with cut-out windows and doors. It is hand painted with a polychromatic color scheme in green, blue, and yellow on a cream background with outlines in black and has a decorative crenellated top rim. The candlestick lid would be set aside to light up the writer’s work. Inside is one central well and four smaller wells in each corner.
