This inkwell model of Angkor Wat is from the 1931 Paris Exposition. The model replicates the iconic central towers and detailed carvings of the actual Angkor Wat temple complex in Cambodia, one of the largest religious monuments in the world. The base of the model prominently features the inscription “ANGKOR-VAT.”. It likely was a souvenir from the exposition.
