An octopus eyeing a mermaid overlooking a pool of water (reverse painted glass) reaches out with his tenacles. The octopus’ head is hinged, opening to access the inkwell (insert missing). The mermaid’s fins extend into an oyster shell, which serves as a pen tray. Marked “Real Bronze, Geschutzt”.
