This porcelain Fairing inkwell features a figurine of a man reclining on a grassy mound, dressed in period clothing, including a light blue jacket, white trousers, and a black hat. The man appears to be holding a bunch of grapes in one hand. The base of the inkwell is ornate and white with gold accents, and it includes a curved pen holder at the front. The top of the inkwell lifts to reveal two inkwells inside. The underside of the lid is marked: an “S” with a smaller “s” beneath it, and the number “497.”
