This ornate inkstand is designed in the shape of a horseshoe with a cherub figure. The cherub is holding a scepter in one hand. The inkstand features two glass inkwells on scrolled and acanthus supports. There is a pen holder located at the front of the inkstand. The back of the inkstand is impressed with the text “PAT. APPD.FOR.”.
