Beautiful porcelain and bronze pump inkwell in faily good condition, apart from a small loss on the edge.  King Louis Philippe reigned as king of the French from 1830 to 1848.  The inkwell is complete with its mass which pushes the ink as it is used.  The painted decoration of flowers and florets is reall very beautiful.  There is a marking on the cap:  Boquet patented inkwell pump, 1839 Paris silver medal.
