Hand painted Limoges inkwell featuring a gilt bronze (ormolu) cherub mounted on a dolphin. It has embossed bronze fittings with a seashell for the clasp. It stands on lion paw feet and is decorated with a floral garland. Base is marked “Limoges France”, “peint à la main”, “2559”.
