A lapis lazuli blue inkwell with guardian lion handles, raised on three paw feet, is attached to a sterling silver base. The inkwell has its original sterling silver insert and is signed once on the bottom and on the hinged ring at the lid “Edward I. Farmer / New York / Sterling”.
Sold for $1500 in June 2017
