An electroplated silver inkstand in the Art Nouveau style, made by WMF (Württembergische Metallwarenfabrik). At the center is “Lady Justice,” an allegorical figure representing impartiality and fairness in the judicial system. She is depicted holding the scales of justice, a symbol of balance and fairness.
To her right is an intricately designed inkwell with a hinged lid, and to her left is a push-button bell, both featuring elaborate Art Nouveau motifs. In front of her is a rocker blotter, also adorned with detailed patterns. The base of the inkstand has scalloped edges and is richly decorated, showcasing the artistic craftsmanship typical of the Art Nouveau period.
