Measuring Inkwell: 2 ¾” x 2 ¾” x 2 ¼” high

This five-piece desk set was made by Kronheim & Oldenbusch. Each piece is diecast and features a combination of gold anodizing along with a simulated leather pattern.

  1. Inkwell: This square inkwell features a hinged lid with gold accents, and has its original glass insert.
  2. Rocker Blotter: The curved base and handle of the rocker blotter are adorned with gold detailing.
  3. Pen Tray: The elongated pen tray has raised edges and showcases the same dual-tone design.
  4. Letter Opener: This slender letter opener has a pointed end and a handle that matches the set’s aesthetic.
  5. Letter Holder: The letter holder consists of two rectangular panels supported by a flat base to store letters.

Kronheim & Oldenbusch, often abbreviated as K&O, was a prominent American metalware company that operated from the late 1800s until 1939. They were known for producing a wide range of metal novelties, including desk sets, bookends, and other decorative items. The company was based in Brooklyn, New York, and their items often featured the K&O logo stamped on the underside.
