This inkwell depicts Jackie Coogan, star of the Charlie Chaplin classic 1921 movie ‘The Kid’, sitting on top of skyscrapers. Around the body of the inkwell are posters advertising the movie. Made by Aladin of Paris, France in 1921. The movie made Jackie Coogan one of the first child stars in the history of Hollywood. Marked on the underside “Aladin” and “Made in France”.
