A double inkstand, rectangular shaped marble base raised on six bronze turned feet, features a bronze bust of Mercury on marble plinth. There’s a large, curved pen tray in the front and two bronze inkwells with hinged lids (missing inserts). The front is decorated with an applied classical mask with swags connected to flowers.
