Edwardian sterling silver mounted horse’s hoof inkwell hallmarked Birmingham 1904 by C.T. Burrows & Sons (Charles Turman Burrows). The attractive silver mount uses a large amount of silver. The heel was crafted to look like real horsehair. The lid is engraved with the initials “AJR”. The hoof is shod with a cast iron shoe, firmly fixed.
