This porcelain inkstand by Conta Böhme features a grandmother seated in a chair, lovingly holding a baby. Surrounding her are three children – two girls and a boy -who gaze admiringly at the baby. The figures are dressed in traditional clothing, and the piece is painted in vibrant colors, showcasing the craftsmanship and artistic detail typical of Conta Böhme porcelain pieces. The top half of the inkstand lifts to reveal the inkwell and sander hidden inside.
