Combination silverplate inkstand / letter holder was awarded as a trophy and inscribed as follows: “Mortonhall Golf Club Handicap Cup – Spring 1946 – Won by Dr. A Scott Dodd”. The Mortonhall Golf Club is in Edinburgh, Scotland. Impressed on the bottom: EPNS (electroplated nickel silver) N2683 A1.
