This inkstand is designed as two inkwells in the form of golf balls with two crossed golf clubs in between with the heads of the clubs forming a pen holder. All are set on an oval base which sits on four round feet. The golf ball inkwells open to reveal removable glass liners (one liner missing on this piece). The bottom is marked with the number 10074, the letters EPNS (Electroplated Nickel Silver) A1.
