Glass Inkwell in a Cast Iron Stand

The pressed glass inkwell is held in a cast iron inkstand. The lid is attached to a bar on the frame and, when in use, lifts upright, resting on a bar with openwork diagonals. A slot in the rear holds letters, a blotter, etc. On top is a pen rack that can hold three pens. Its base with detailed patterns has disk corners each impressed with a star.
