This pressed and cut-glass inkstand has four wells for ink. The faceted “jewel” lids, with brass mounts, each have a different color – red, blue, purple, and green. The jewels rest on a brass hinged base with another smaller faceted jewel displayed in the front. Press the smaller jewel to release the latch and open the lid.
