A crystal inkwell, blown, cut and faceted with hinged brass fitting and a dome-shaped lid fits into a holder attached to a brass fence. A girl wearing a bonnet and old-fashioned dress (reminiscent of Kate Greenaway’s style) sits atop the fence. Two brackets in front form a pen holder.
