German 800 Silver Inkstand with Handle

Measuring Base: 3 ⅛” square; ¾” extra for the handle; inkwell is 1 ¼” x 1 ¼” x 1 ¾” high

This silver inkstand features a square base with bun feet, raised edges, and an elongated handle with rope ties. In the center is a faceted glass inkwell with hinged silver lid. It is hallmarked on the base with the German crescent & crown silver mark, and the maker’s mark for Wilhelm Binder.
