George Ohr pottery cougar inkwell – molded, blackish-blue-glazed sculpture of a cougar’s head with slightly turned head and open mouth bearing teeth; the head is affixed to a pierced, scroddled-clay slab with coggled edge and impressed leaf motifs at the corners. Original hole to ink reservoir is carved on the side of the cougar’s head.
Underside is impressed “GEO.E.OHR / BILOXI”.
