French Porcelain Inkstand in the Kakiemon Style

This inkstand features two square porcelain inkwells with hinged bronze lids. The porcelain is adorned with colorful floral and bird (partridges?) designs in the Kakiemon style. The base of the inkstand is a rectangular tray with a decorative border, and it includes two bronze quill holders shaped like dolphins.
