This is a nice example of a hand-painted faience pottery inkwell. The inkwell features a square base with rounded corners, supported by four small feet. The body is adorned with vibrant, hand-painted designs in blue, green, yellow, pink, and red, showcasing floral motifs and geometric shapes. The top edge of the inkwell has four pen holes. The hinged lid is decorated in yellow and green, and it is topped with a small, round knob. The bottom of the inkwell is marked “Aladin France”.
