This green glass inkwell has a square base with rounded edges, adorned with elaborate floral and scroll designs. There is a detailed figure of a woman with her arms raised, holding what appears to be a flute. This figure is intricately detailed, with flowing garments and an expressive posture that suggests movement or dance and possibly represents a muse or a nymph.

An eagle with outstretched wings, perched atop a decorative base is fashioned on another side. The eagle is surrounded by intricate floral and leaf motifs, which are part of the ornate design that covers the inkwell.

The lid of the inkwell features a detailed relief of an angel seated in a contemplative pose. The angel is designed with flowing lines and ornate details, including wings and headdress.
