This early American pressed glass (EAPG) inkwell was molded in a deep mitered diamond, oversized daisy or giant flattened sawtooth type pattern. It has brass neck bands hinged at the rear. The base is concave with a 24-point starburst. The lid is a flattened pillow form with a center starburst ringed by divided triangles.
