The Sächsische Porzellan-Manufaktur Dresden GmbH (commonly known as Dresden Porcelain) was founded in 1872. The company was located in Potschappel, a suburb of Dresden, in Saxony, Germany. Dresden Porcelain introduced its blue “SP Dresden” trademark in 1902.
