A resting dragon (or gargoyle?) with its wings raised high guards this brass double inkstand. The dragon acts as the finial for a hinged lidded storage compartment. On either side is a glass inkwell with an unattached lid. There are pen holes on each side, and a pen tray in the front.

Sold for $440 in July 2024
