Description Dating precisely to 1903, this heavy cut crystal and sterling silver inkwell exemplifies the refined craftsmanship of renowned Chester silversmiths George Nathan & Ridley Hayes.
The piece features a substantial, thick-walled crystal base deeply cut in a bold geometric prismatic hobnail motif across all four tiers, producing exceptional light refraction and brilliance from every angle. It is topped with a smooth, heavy-gauge sterling silver collar and a matching hinged domed lid.
