Cupid, standing on a lotus leaf with his quiver (pen holder) tied to his waist, delights in a dragonfly that has landed on a lotus blossom. The white glass blossom forms the inkwell. The dragonfly forms the swivel lid for the inkwell. To Cupid’s side, the top of an unopened lotus blossom lifts off and becomes a candle snuffer. A small candle fits in the resulting opening. The piece is marked with an English registration mark.
